Black Gourmet Grade A Bourbon vanilla beans from Madagascar, 14-16 cm, grown and cured by our own family in the SAVA region, with no auction middlemen. The by-weight format: the economical middle ground between per-bean packs and bulk by the kilo.

Origin & terroir
Our family grows this vanilla in the SAVA region, around Sambava, Madagascar. The beans are slow-cured for 3 to 6 months in trunks, under controlled temperature and humidity, then sorted by hand.
- Grade:Gourmet Grade A, supple, oily, glossy beans, 0% splits (category I of the NF ISO 5565-2 standard)
- Size: 14-16 cm, bean-by-bean gauge grading, visual and UV checks
- Vanillin: 1.4-3% (HPLC-measured, contractual guarantee of at least 1.4%)
- Moisture: 30-38% (Karl Fischer)
