Where we come from

Three generations
after him

In Vangaindrano, everything begins with Désiré. Three generations later, we still work the way he did.

On July 1, 2025, we celebrated his 80th birthday. Our father, grandfather and great-grandfather remains the one we measure ourselves against.

The man behind the name

This house carries
his first name

This was never a branding idea. It is a way of saying where what you receive at home comes from.

He spoke little about his work. He did it.

He leaves us patience, restraint and work done well. What we send you comes from what he taught his own.

We just wanted you to know who Désiré was.

Where everything begins

Vangaindrano, the beginning

In the southeast of Madagascar, Désiré planted and dried for an entire life. He learned everything outdoors, watching before doing. The season decided, not him.

Grown by the family

What the land gives

Ginger, spices: in Vangaindrano, our family grows everything except vanilla. Each harvest passes through the same hands, from field to sorting.

In the workshop

Passing it on

The family joins the workshop. We repeat the gesture until it is right. None of it is written down anywhere.

Plain words

Staying honest

We show the raw material and explain the work. What we don't know, we say that too.

Never promise more than what we have: that has been the house rule since day one.

Giving back

Today,
around us

We move forward with the families and the village school. We help where we live.

School supplies for the students, time when it's needed. Nothing extraordinary: the village carries us, and we give back what we can.

Nothing but vanilla

The vanilla of the SAVA region

Our vanilla grows in the northeast of Madagascar, in the SAVA region. We prepare it and ship it ourselves.
