It is the inner bark of the tree, harvested then dried into thin rolls, that gives this powder its soft, woody and sweet profile, finer than Chinese cassia cinnamon.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eOrigin\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eOur family grows this cinnamon in Vangaindrano, in the south-east of Madagascar. The bark is harvested by hand, then dried following the traditional method to preserve the essential oils.
